One of the easiest and most rewarding perennials to grow! This award winning perennial is similar to 'Blue Fortune' but has showy golden-chartreuse to lime green foliage depending on the sun exposure (it grows in full sun and part shade). The foliage emerges bright yellow in spring. Lavender blue, bottlebrush-like flowers are held on strong, upright stems from midsummer to early fall.

Use this plant to add a bright spot of color in the landscape late in the season when many other plants are finished blooming. This hybrid naturally forms a dense clump without any pinching or pruning. The leaves smell distinctly like black licorice when crushed, thus its common name, Anise Hyssop.

Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips:
This variety of agastache will grow in full sun or part shade and slightly alkaline soil. The most critical factor is good drainage. This plant will NOT tolerate wet soil, especially in winter. When planting, put a thick layer of gravel in the bottom of the hole and then mix more in with the filler soil. Native to the southwest US and Mexico, it is naturally heat and drought tolerant.
