A delightful and elegant native, this grass thrives in dry shade. Fine textured and elegant in appearance, it is tough and drought tolerant, ideal for planting in any well-drained shady location as a groundcover or member of the border. In the Spring, it is topped with gracefull feathers flowersthat are lovely moving quietly in the breeze.

Forms medium-height clumps of tufted green foliage with very fine, airy panicles. Foliage is semi-evergreen and plants tolerate more shade than most grasses.
