A striking and colorful element for the garden. 'Earliest of All' produces 2-3 inch wide, golden, bowl-shaped flowers from late spring into midsummer. They stand in stark contrast against the dark green foliage. Trollius is a wonderful addition to any sunny or partially shaded, moist area such as the edges of ponds or streams.

Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips:
Trollius grows best in full sun to partial shade and rich moist, even boggy soil. This moisture is especially important in sunny locations. If the foliage begins to look worn after flowering, cut it back hard and wait for the new growth to fill back in. Trollius typically takes a year or two to become established, but they are well worth the wait. If, at that time, you wish to divide them, do so in either early spring or fall. Plants may take a year to recover from this division.
